Play and Fly

Play Therapy For Children and Young People In The NorthWest

We offer one-to-one play therapy sessions for children who are experiencing emotional or behavioural difficulties. Using the power of play, we help children express themselves, build resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies in a safe and supportive environment—giving parents peace of mind and children the tools they need to thrive.

Expert Services

At Play & Fly, we provide specialist one-to-one play therapy for children facing emotional, behavioural, or developmental challenges. Our experienced therapists use evidence-based approaches to create a safe, engaging space where your child can explore their feelings, work through difficulties, and develop emotional resilience. Every session is carefully adapted to meet your child’s unique needs, while offering guidance and support for you as a parent throughout the therapeutic journey.

We offer play and creative arts therapy from a dedicated base in Ramsbottom, providing a calm, welcoming space for children and families. In addition to clinic-based sessions, I also work peripatetically in education settings across Wigan and Bolton. This flexible approach allows me to bring therapeutic support directly into schools and other familiar environments, making it more accessible and responsive to each child’s needs. Whether in the community or on-site, I aim to create safe, supportive spaces where children can feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Child Friendly Facility

Our therapy environment is thoughtfully designed to feel calm, comforting, and engaging for children of all ages. From carefully chosen toys and creative materials to cozy, quiet spaces, every element of our facility is tailored to help children feel at ease from the moment they arrive. We understand that feeling safe and comfortable is the foundation for meaningful therapeutic work, which is why we’ve created a setting where your child can relax, express themselves freely, and truly enjoy the process of healing through play.

Initial Consultation

We know that taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, which is why we offer free initial meeting for parents and caregivers. These no-obligation consultations provide a safe space to discuss your child’s emotional or behavioural concerns with a qualified therapist. Together, we’ll explore whether play therapy is the right fit and outline how we can best support your child’s wellbeing. It’s a chance to ask questions, gain clarity, and feel confident about the next steps—without any pressure.
